We just love the look of the raw steel with a rustic wood plank, so our steel brackets are heavy duty enough to handle the job. They come with a 4β high lip, which will keep a mantle or thick shelf in place, and are handmade of locally sourced, heavy duty steel. This 3β wide bracket has a 2" wide concave support bar for a modern industrial look. Please see below for care instructions.Β
β¬ Price is for ONE (1) bracket only.
β¬ Locally sourced raw steel.
β¬ Pre-drilled with 1/4" hole.
β¬ 3β wide with 2β wide support bar and 4β lip.
β¬ ΒΌβ thick steel in four sizes.

This bracket is a raw steel finish. Some of our product photos show our brackets painted black as some clients either painted them or made arrangements with us prior to shipping to have them painted or powder coated.
When ordering, the first dimension is the depth x second dimension is the wall mount leg. For example a 6x10 has a 6" depth x 10" wall mount leg... a 10x6 has a 10" depth x 6" wall mount leg. The lip is 4" standard, if you need another size please let me know!

HOW DO WE MAKE OUR BRACKETS?
See how our brackets are made in a step by step post on the Industrialfarmco.com blog.
Over time, most metal will oxidize or "rust". The rate at which this happens varies and depends on the environment and level of humidity. Since our customers preferences varies, if you choose to leave the steel raw, we recommend using a dry scotch brite pad or steel wool to remove any visible "rust" as it occurs. Some customers paint our products with rust protecting paint, like Rustoleum, or they use beeswax to coat the metal to help prevent "rusting".

We always recommend mounting our brackets into studs. Especially if you plan to put anything heavy on your shelves. If you can't hit a stud, you can use drywall anchors. However, in that case I would be careful on how much weight you put on the shelf.
*When mounting brackets with support bars, we suggest using a hex head screw and wrench to secure. You can put the screw into the bracket and walk it into the wall.

We are happy to give you suggestions, however we always recommend consulting a professional installer if you are unsure how to mount them or if they are installed correctly.

Very solid and just the look I was going for. Used them to mount an old beam from a barn that I cleaned up with a draw-knife and tongue oil for my mantle!

We salvaged this 80 year old piece of wood from my father-in- laws feed store. These brackets were just what we needed to finish off the look! We had to have them custom made to fit what we needed...the owner was great in making the suggestion for the size we needed. I ordered the raw metal and spray painted them in a a flat black to save money.! My husband drilled a larger hole in them and we used a bolt instead of screws because the wood was so heavy. He used a ratchet to tighten the bolts which I also painted black. Iβm so happy with them!
